Small Price To Pay

I just gave a pledge to my local NPR station, KUAF, for its Fall Pledge Drive. Because I'm po' white trash single mom I only pledged $52...I figured a dollar a week is well worth the wealth of information and entertainment I get from NPR. This American Life is worth the price alone. Contrary to urban myths and chain emails, public radio relies very little on government funding (I've read something like 2%). Instead it depends on donations from individuals. People like me who use it as background noise every morning and evening. If I can afford it anyone can, so I encourage y'all to ante up.
