Super Tuesday Thoughts

  • This just keeps getting more exciting. I love seeing the huge increases in voter turnout.
  • Huckabee? Really, people? For those of y'all voting for him because he "represents your values," you might try doing just a little research into his ethics record in Arkansas.
  • Nothing irritates me more than the OVERDOSE OF GRAPHICS on the cable news channels. Enough. Nauseating.
  • I wonder what the Kennedy family get-togethers will be like this year.

It was a great Super Tuesday. I'm really excited about this election. I think I will have to get us Feminists for Barack tees!

That might be the least impressive ethics scandal I've ever read. A canoe? From a cola distributor? Didn't Saint Obama get a million dollar house from a jailed slumlord?

ok, anonymous:
do you find these facts equally unimpressive?

Huckabee on the issues:

1. "Gay tolerance reflects lack of fixed societal standards."
2. "Outlaw all abortions; err on the side of life."
3."Treat AIDS as plague to be isolated, not civil rights issue. "
4."Signed legislation outlawing same-sex marriage in Arkansas."
5."Wal-Mart is case study in genius of American marketplace. "
6."Defends death penalty biblically as well as politically. "
7. "Opposes "hate crimes" legislation."
8. "Build more prisons, and privatize their management. "
9. "Support displaying the Ten Commandments in public schools."

And I wasn't trying to provide an "impressive ethics scandal," only show that with a simple google search you can find quite a bit about Huckabee's ethics violations as governor.

And we haven't even mentioned pardoning a convicted rapist who went on to murder! THAT impressive enough?
