Sickening...

This ties in with what I wrote about earlier. This pin is being sold at the Texas Republican Convention. As featured in the Dallas Morning News blog. At least we know the Good Ol' Boys are not good and they're getting older....but my stomach still turns when I hear stuff like this.

That is so juvenile, it's almost funny.

Almost.

That says a lot about Texan Republicans, I think....

If the name of the White House changed based on a description of it's current occupant, wouldn't it be called, "85 IQ House" or "Dumb, Ignorant Ass House?"

That is the saddest election pin I've ever seen.

Oh, man. And I'm spending the weekend in Texas with a clan of those Texan Republicans... one of them is back after a two-year tour in Iraq, and there will definitely be a few there from the Old Days... It'll be fun.

I can't believe that shit still happens.

I would like to add, though, that I don't think any of the folks in the aforementioned clan would wear or condone the wearing of such a pin. But as far as I know, they are all republicans. So. It'll still be fun :)

yeah. You can't choose your family. Remember, I have the relatives who are voting McCain because they believe Obama is a Muslim whose preacher (wrap your minds around that one) hates America.

I heard an African American/Black comedian on the radio the other morning saying he hopes Obama wins so everyone can start calling it the Black House, too.

It's a joke-no one seems to have a sense of humor anymore.

Lynnylu - explain the humor to me. Maybe I am a dour humorless old hag. So please, how does that work as a piece of humor?

I did read today that the buttons were declined by the TX Republican GOP (good for them) and that a spokesman for the GOP commented that "bigotry would not be tolerated". It's nice to see that both non-ignorant sides are trying to squash the racism.
